Inside L’Académie: A Weekend for the Curious, the Skilled, and the Becoming

In a quiet villa overlooking the sea (or at least it felt that way), a group of injectors gathered for something different. There’s training… and then there’s transformation.

Earlier this year, 2 select groups of aesthetic injectors stepped into L’Académie — The French NP’s signature two-day intensive — and walked out not just technically sharper, but wholly redefined. Led by Sandy Hunt, AGACNP-C, the weekend moved between quiet reflection and high-level execution. It was part technical training, part artistic awakening.

The atmosphere? Intimate. Honest. Borderline sacred.

Yes, there were needles. Yes, there were models. But more than that, there was elevation: of skill, of mindset, and of purpose. The weekend unfolded in true French NP fashion: immersive, intimate, and rooted in the art of aesthetic refinement. Something slower, deeper, and more intentional.

What makes L’Académie different?

Students perform live injections to help ground the theory — not just with models, but with real faces, real stories, and real-time decisions. We worked on a range of patient types, exploring how to tailor treatments for different bone structures, skin conditions, and aesthetic goals. 

Yes, we talked anatomy. Yes, we talked tools. But we also talked about the things that rarely make it into trainings: the unspoken expectations patients carry. The subtle shifts that make a treatment feel effortless instead of obvious. The invisible art of knowing when enough is enough.

L’Académie isn’t about learning how to inject. It’s about learning how to see.

Live injections bring the theory to life, but the real artistry is in the nuance: precision, posture, pressure. We touch on high-risk zones and low-frequency features. We talk cultural context, emotional beauty, and the subtle art of knowing when to stop.
