Welcome to

The French Academy
of Advanced Aesthetics.

Now for your next steps...

Please review the checklist below and submit your responses at your earliest convenience.

Cordialement,

The French Nurse Practitioner

STEP 1

Accept Your Invitation

Admission to L'Académie is by invitation only. To reserve your placement in our academy training, please refer to your acceptance email. To accept, please click the button that reads "Register Here" within your acceptance email. This will guide you to the official registration page. If you are unable to attend the weekend selected for you, choose the button that says "Pay Deposit" to reserve your seat for a future date. We will work with you to find your best match. If you are having difficulties, please contact our office for alternative payment methods.

STEP 2

Verify that you are covered to inject in the state of Massachusetts

Due to the hands-on nature of our training, we require all attendees to verify that their malpractice insurance covers them for injecting in various locations, including the state of Massachusetts. Alternatively, attendees may apply for a temporary or reciprocal license through the Massachusetts Board of Nursing, which typically processes within 30 days.

STEP 3

Send Your Headshots

All attendees will benefit from a complimentary injectable treatment or facial of your choice (excluding BBL) as part of your training experience, ensuring you understand both the technique and the patient perspective.

Please send us 3 photos of yourself  (left, right and center profile). Ensure photos are clear, well lit, and do not include any filters or special effects. Please include your name, the date of your training, and your preferred treatment.

STEP 4

If you are interested in bringing a Model for Live-Injection Training

Our courses include hands-on injection training of multiple models. To allow for a more personalized experience, all attendees are invited to bring an additional model to the live-injection portion of our training (not required). Models will be invited to join us during the Friday afternoon/evening session of your course weekend.

If you are interested in bringing a model, please send us an email with their name, email, and 3 headshots (right, left and center profile). You may also include any special notes, challenges or questions you would like us to review.

STEP 5

Share Your Images for Portfolio Review

Portfolio review is a helpful exercise in which attendees can get real feedback about how to improve their patient outcomes. By looking at before-and-after photos of our patients, we can help discover our strengths and challenges in a safe, informative environment. Attendees will benefit from their own review in addition to hearing and learning from feedback of others.

Please send before-and-after images of at least 3 different patients. You may send more if you'd like, but depending on time constraints it may not possible to review each one during our weekend. If you have specific challenges and questions, we will be sure to address all questions during your training.

STEP 6

Select your Lunch Preferences

Meals will be provided during your course program. On Friday, we will be ordering from one of our local favorites- The Daily Press. They offer a variety of fresh and local ingredients- with recipes for every palette. Please review the menu below to select your preferences for Friday's lunch. Once you have chosen, send the information to our office via email or text. Please include any allergies or dietary restrictions in your message.

STEP 7

Preparing for Injectables

If you plan to receive an injectable treatment the day of your consultation involving facial balancing, neurotoxins, biostimulators or fillers, we recommend you begin taking arnica tablets (3 pills, 3 times a day, for 3 days prior to your appointment). We carry these in-office or you may find them at your local health food store. Taking these prior to your appointment greatly reduces  bruising and swelling.

Q&A

Aftercare

Each patient receives a tailored treatment plan, and will receive aftercare instructions based on their needs. To maximize results and improve the effects of your treatments between appointments, we recommend switching to a medical grade skincare line such as ZO SkinHealth. Within your premiére consultation, we will be able to recommend specific items that are available both in our medical spa and our online shop.
