GLP 1

About This Treatment

GLP1 (Glucagon like peptide 1), is a natural hormone produced in your gut. It plays a critical role in appetite regulation, blood sugar balance, insulin signaling, and metabolic function. As we age or experience hormonal shifts, stress, or metabolic dysregulation, GLP 1 signaling can become impaired. This often shows up as persistent cravings, blood sugar instability, increased inflammation, or weight that feels resistant despite effort. GLP 1 medications are designed to support this natural pathway. But how they are administered matters. At The French NP, we practice microdosing. Rather than large, abrupt doses that aggressively suppress appetite, we use smaller, controlled amounts that more closely mimic the body’s natural peptide rhythm. Your body naturally releases GLP 1 in gentle pulses. We respect that physiology. Because we use this approach, we are often able to minimize many of the unwanted side effects commonly associated with higher dosing, including significant nausea, extreme appetite suppression, muscle loss, gauntness and metabolic slowdown. The goal is not shock. It is recalibration. Microdosing allows us to quiet food noise, stabilize cravings, improve insulin sensitivity, and support sustainable fat loss while preserving muscle mass and long term metabolic health. When paired with strength training, proper nutrition, and medical oversight, microdosed GLP 1 therapy can support: • Sustainable fat loss • Reduced inflammation • Improved metabolic markers • Stable energy • Hormonal harmony Measured. Monitored. Intentional. True wellness should never be extreme.
