Facial Balancing Explained: The Benefits to Injecting Multiple Areas

In many ways, taking care of a garden is a lot like taking care of ourselves. Both require assessing the needs and finding the right amount of balance. What is necessary in care for one flower may be completely different in what its neighboring flower requires. Sandy Hunt AGACNP-C has mastered the art of seeing each patient as their own individual, understanding that just as each flower requires their own plan of care to flourish, so does each patient. This is where facial balancing can come into play and be especially effective in enhancing all the best parts of you.

When creating a bouquet, it’s important not to focus only on one flower but to honor the foliage as a whole. For example, in order to achieve visual balance, one must consider color; the bold colors of burgundy dahlias paired with golden sunflowers create a stunning contrast. Texture; combining smooth flowers with wispy elements, (e.g. roses with baby’s breath). Shape is also a vital aspect to consider, balancing rounded flowers with linear elements, such as peonies with calla lilies.

The same is true in our facial balancing technique; the face is regarded as a whole. A visually harmonious, refreshed and balanced look is achieved by subtle, millimeter changes throughout the face, while applying a sequence of injections in precise, targeted areas. We carefully consider each patient’s anatomy, heritage, and even the animation and warmth in their smile.

Some patients may have experienced treatments where only one area was addressed (like their  forehead or crows), neglecting the surrounding areas. When these neighboring muscles are left untreated, they end up overcompensating, leading to increased tension and imbalance across the face.

In contrast, our patients have a more natural visage thanks to the millimeter improvements in multiple areas of the face. Rather than making one area 80% better which can lead to an exaggerated, distracting look, we create slight enhancements, injecting multiple areas to be 5% better, establishing a 100% global improvement that looks natural.

Imagine you’re enjoying a stroll through a peaceful garden. You stop in your tracks when the sweet aroma of jasmine uplifts the air. You look over and can’t help but notice that each delicate white petal shines like precious pearls. The leaves gleam with the deepest shade of green; they could have been kissed by emeralds. This plant most likely thrives thanks to the right balance of sunlight. Too much sunlight could have scorched the leaves, whereas too little light could have hindered the process of photosynthesis.

In the same sense that a gardener discerns how much sunlight or water a plant needs in order to blossom, we recognize the needs of our patients. We know based on your skin type which products and treatments will help you flourish the most. We know exactly where to inject so that we can bring out your most natural radiance and beauty.  Determining the different needs of each unique patient is crucial in successfully navigating the art and exquisite work of facial balancing.
